This Dharma Center Sherpa Buddhist Shedrup Center was established in 2003 (2060 B.S.) Our main objective is to bring peace to the world. Since 2003 we have continuously been doing various Dharma programs even during the time of the insurgency in Nepal. We have been performing holy activities since our beginning.
Dharma means protection through practicing Buddha’s teachings we protect ourselves from suffering and problems. All the problems that we experience in daily life originate in ignorance. The method for eliminating ignorance is to practice the Dharma. If we integrate Buddha’s teachings into our daily lives we will be able to solve all of our inner problems and attain a truly peaceful mind. Without inner peace outer peace is impossible. If we first establish peace within our mind by training in spiritual practices outer peace will naturally follow. If we do not do so world peace will never be attained no matter how many people campaign for it
